While the weather is warm if you only have a few items to wash why not wash them in a bowl with a tiny amount of surf,rinse them and put them on the line to dry. It saves at least two washing machine loads a week.

when washing net curtains, take them straight out of the water, and hang them straight back up.that way, they dry with no creases, and leave the room smelling of my favourite washing powder!!

If your washing everynight(school uniform), put it on a quick wash untill the end of the week and then hot wash it.
